As a #WeightroomWarrior, #FitnessEnthusiast, #PowerLifter, #BodyBuilder, #Athlete, or you just train for your health, there is an overwhelming amount information, articles, and experts that can “make you lose weight” or “get huge fast” ecc ecc, you catch my drift. There are many industry experts and even more personal trainers. Everyone has a training method, meal plan, and a plan for you to achieve your goals. This isn’t one of those articles.
We all have different reasons for walking into the gym, our own motivations and goals. Remember those goals each time you walk in to the gym or training facility, remember why you made that decision today. Stop comparing yourself to someone else, you are you and only you can achieve your goals. And if you need help, get a Personal Trainer, but if you do LISTEN to them, Trainers and Coaches are industry experts for a reason, this is their life, you do not (usually) know more than them about hitting and maintaining health goals. It is so easy to follow a program or use a trainer, you go to the gym you work out and then go home and when no one is watching, do not stay committed to your goals. Then it is easy to blame everything else, your trainer, your job, family, the list of excuses go on and on. NO EXCUSES.
What you do when no one is watching is more important than what you do at the gym in front of others or what you post on social media. Make sure you are doing everything to follow and achieve your goals i.e. meal plan, diet, training days, ecc. Remember when you walk into the gym that at some point in every gym goers life that they had to start somewhere. Do not be intimated, go in and do you.
Remember each and every day why it is that you do what you do, remember that only you can motivate yourself and only you can work hard and dedicate yourself to the success you want in the gym. I promise that once you get passed the excuses, the struggle, and you get through that first set, you will be happy you are there. And then when you start seeing your body change, it catches on like wildfire, but you have to get yourself to that point. There are many reasons why working out is good for you, knowing and doing are 2 different things. Go and do, nothing beats Hard Work and Dedication!
