The Beast Sensor App gives you 2 main data outputs; Speed and Power.

But what is power and how do I use it?

The Power involved in moving a weight is the product of the lifting strength applied from the athlete and the velocity of the load. Simply put; power is the product of force on an object and the object’s velocity or speed.

Being proportional to Force and Speed, Power shows how strong, fast, and fit you are; therefore it makes it the perfect metric to help you track your progress. That being said, power should be constant or increase set by set. When power dips drastically then it could be a sign of fatigue.

So as you track your lifts, make sure that power stays constant or increases set over set:

In conclusion, as you continue to increase weight make sure power stays constant or increases, set by set.

If you see sharp declines, or irregular power outputs then you should look at making sure that your form, speed, and loads are correct with your training goals.
