Growing up is a journey full of obstacles, as a person, as an athlete and as a company. As a tech-software start up our daily challenge is to keep the intense rhythm of updates required to maintain full compatibility with the many different smartphone models out in the market. After 12 months of feedback gathered from our customers and their needs we’re on the path to make some really cool things happening.

To make each workout as effective as possible by fully embracing Velocity Based Training methods (read our blog post here). To enable a smooth training experience each time you hit the gym. Finally focusing on the enjoyment and satisfaction coming from the advantages of tracking training data. These are the main goals we set ourselves. A completely new version of Beast is about to hit your smartphones and tablets.

Bluetooth connection

The connection libraries have now been re-written by our developing team to create the smoothest and most stable connection experience on any compatible smartphone. The improved connection will greatly benefit those of you who reported an unstable connection between the device and some smartphones.

App stability

App stability issues have been reported from some of our customers. By adding senior developers to our team and completely re-writing our apps from scratch,we are ready to guarantee a smooth user experience for all iOS or Android devices.

New navigation/usability

We continue the journey for the perfect navigation and usability: we will further reduce the number of taps on the screen needed to perform during a work out.

In-line tutorial and data info

As soon as you get the product, we want you to be able to workout within 1 minute. We’ve made the learning curve for this product less steep. From now all tutorials will be in-app and self explanatory. Moreover all data in the app will be explained, in order to not be only showing metrics but to deliver ACTIONABLE METRICS: the only path to enable taking the right decision in the weight room, getting the max advantage of performance tracking.

Track & compare features

Let’s express at maximum the benefit of metrics, and make them as easy to use as possible. A 3 months long usability study with athletes and strength coaches has been performed, moreover a UX expert joined our team and lots of awesomeness is the result… stay tuned for some exclusive preview in a few weeks!
