How To: Create a Workout using Beast

One of the great features of using Beast Sensor is that you don’t have to choose from a set list of exercises but that you can create a custom workout tailored to YOUR training goals.

To Start: go to and log in using your username and password.

This is the dashboard where you can 1) view all your data from prior workouts, 2) create new exercises that are currently not in the Beast list on your app, 3) Plan and schedule your daily workouts.

To start look through the list of exercises and check to make sure that all your desired lifts are there. If not simply click on the ‘Exercises’ tab and select ‘New Exercise’. Here you can name the exercise as well as create a description for the exercise.

For Example: Lat Pull Down

Note: Place sensor on weight stack

These will now be saved in your list of ‘Exercises’ right in your app and in the dashboard. So whether you are creating a ‘New Workout’ the next week, or you are in the gym free training with the Beast Sensor you can simply select that exercise and track it.

Once you have all the exercises needed to plan your workout select the ‘Plan Workouts’ tab on the left side of the screen.

Select ‘New Workout’

  • Name your workout
  • Schedule the day you plan on completing
  • Add notes or reminders for that workout

From there you will select the

  • Exercise
  • Load
  • Reps
  • Type of Training: Performance or Free Training Mode, Max Strength, Power, Hypertrophy, or Velocity

**Note** If you wish to super set you exercises you have to alternate exercises, for example:

* Trick * If you want to do 1 workout, say Bench Press, but you want to work out starting with a set like:

10 @ 135 lbs

10 @ 185 lbs

10 @ 225 lbs

5 @ 250

3 @ 275

You can simply plan your work out with Load of 135 and reps 38. Then when you get  to the gym for your workout; click ‘Start Workout’ do your first 10 reps at 135, click the circle to stop the counting, then change weight on your rack, and in the app change the load to the next weight, click ‘Start’ again and go, repeat throughout the rest of your sets.

The app will count all the reps with the weight designation and in the Web Portal you can analyze the data and see the breakdown of the reps at each weight. Very nifty and easy way to get your workouts scheduled so all you have to do is tap the screen to start in app.

Once you completed entering in all of the information and have your desired workout set, click save workout. Then when you are ready to crush the workout at the gym on the scheduled date, open the app, click on planned workout and select the desired workout for that day and go!

It may take a little time on the front end to add your exercises and workouts scheduled but once you have completed them you can “copy” workouts and simply change the loads if you are doing a progression or wave training set. It is easy to schedule, plan, and set your workouts every week so that when you get to the gym, you do not have to think about what you are going to do today, just open your Beast App and attack the day.

* Here is 3 weeks worth of a workout that I was able to create in about 20 minutes adding in some new exercises. Once you create just copy, edit, and schedule.
