How To Add an Exercise in App

Add Exercise. PNG

Today we have released a new update to the app for iOS with the Android update coming next week!

The new features include an ADD EXERCISE feature in app! It is simple, open the app, click start workout, and if the exercise you want is not in there, don’t worry, simply add it, and go!

We also added a new widget, MEAN POWER WEEKLY, this gives your week by week power views of your exercises so you can compare week over week if and how your power is progressing. If you want to know how to use Power as a Data Measure we have a great article here explaining how to use it!

Check out this quick walkthrough video on how to add an exercise!

Hi guys, I just started to use the sensor which I already love but I sometimes all these data are just overflows me and I’m spending more time to create my workouts on the website and then analyze them, then with the actual lifts. Is there any chance to add complete workout protocols, cycles (like starting strength, stronglift (their app is really good) , wendler 5/3/1…) to the app/website and or allow to create cycles for weeks. All these datas could be used by the app/website to progressively change/ modify the future planned workouts by the results of past workouts.
Otherwise the whole product is years ahead of everything else that I’ve seen and makes me addicted to it. I hope you dont mind my refelections on the app.
    All the beast guys! :)

Thanks for the note and the excitement! At this time we do not have any app interfaces but there are some developments and things we are looking at for the future. We always appreciate feedback and reflections! We are always continuing to make the app easier to use, more robust, and the best product out there. We hope you continue to grow and hit your goals with Beast and if you ever have questions or more reflections please feel free to email us at! We are always happy to hear from you!

Hi buddies, I have a quick one: Do I put in my bodyweight for exercises like box jump and pull ups? If so maybe add that info (current body weight) box in the settings? / Kim from Sweden

@kimholmqvist:disqus absolutely for all bodyweight exercises you should add your body weight in the app for the load. This will give you the most accurate data.
